During the visits, Professor Takeo delivered invited lectures on the value and contributions of genetically modified mice and reproductive technologies to biomedical science. From Kumamoto University, Project Professor Seiji Okada of the Joint Research Center for Human Retrovirus Infection also participated in the visits. He gave invited lectures on the usefulness of immunodeficient mice and humanized mice in biomedical research, and attended meetings regarding the Double Degree Program (DDP), which enables students to obtain degrees from both universities, in collaboration with Kumamoto University's Graduate School of Medical Sciences.

Through these exchanges, further promotion of joint research, graduate education, and international collaboration between Kumamoto University and Thai Royal Universities is expected.
